Amy is an endurance athlete, model, fitness expert, motivational speaker and a Dame Kelly Holmes Trust Athlete. She is known for her can-do attitude and infectious enthusiasm.
Above all, Amy wants to inspire others to become more active, no matter what age, shape or size.
In 2014 Amy took on the mammoth challenge of running 53 marathons in 53 consecutive days in 53 different towns and cities around the UK.
The aim was to inspire others and motivate people to get involved. Amy raised over £53,000 for charity.
This achievement placed Amy 27th in the Telegraph’s Top 100 Britons of 2014 and established her alongside the likes of Jo Pavey in Runner’s World Top 5 Running Heroes of 2014. Amy also picked up ‘Running Moment of the Year 2014’ at the prestigious Running Awards.
As a Dame Kelly Holmes Trust athlete, Amy is committed to helping young people facing a range of life challenges to get back on track.
Amy and her partner have set up The 53 Foundation charity with the aim of creating opportunities for people with disabilities to become more active.
Originally from West Felton, Shropshire, Amy is based in Cheshire but travels all over the world for work.
Only six short years ago Amy ran her first ever marathon.
It goes to show that if you believe in something and put your mind to it, then anything is possible.
