First off….I would like to wish you all a very happy, fun filled new year! A little late I know, but I purposely waited to launch this blog because to be completely honest I didn’t want to get caught up in the “new year, new you” whirlwind. I do hope everyone has a great 2017 but I don’t believe you need a new year to create a “new you” I believe that you should always be the, you that you have always been that you should always want to better, grow and improve.

Reflecting back and thinking about the 2016 I have had actually makes me incredibly proud, it gives me a warm fuzzy feeling in my belly and I am definitely not ashamed to say it. I worked really hard last year to make my treadmill challenge work all be it through blood, sweat and tears (LITERALLY) ☺ I am sure you guys all did something/s amazing last year? Did you run you’re first 10k? 5k? You’re first marathon? Maybe you got engaged or got a new job? I have said this in a previous blog and I will say it again…everyone has personal goals some are bigger than others but one of my favourite quotes says it all “you’re only competitor is yourself” this is true! Don’t think about how you can reinvent yourself this year, think about how you can and you will achieve you’re next goal and think about what you can do to get you closer to that dream.

I don’t know about you but I always feel there is pressure in January to become this super organised, extra happy and motivated new person! Don’t get me wrong having those qualities are great but ignore the pressure keep doing what you’re doing with a little extra faith and self belief!

What’s next for me……..

LOTS!!!! I can’t wait to take on 2017! I have lots of mini (and maybe some massive) challenges ahead! That hopefully some of you can come join me on! And to kick – start the year I will be exploring Manchester! I will be running in and around Manchester discovering cool and interesting places to run. So I would love you to join me. If you have any places you think I should run or would like to join me then drop me an email (its in my contact info section) .

Thank you 2016. Lets see what 2017 has in store!

And remember
